Adrienne Barbeau

Adrienne Barbeau is a best selling author, a recording artist, and the star of numerous features, films for television, concert performances, musicals and plays. She has had an extraordinary career, spanning from her Broadway debut in Fiddler on the Roof, to her Tony nomination and Theatre World Award for the role of Rizzo in the original Broadway production of Grease. Fans might know her best for her performances in such genre greats as The Fog, Escape From New York, Creepshow, Swamp Thing, Back to School, and Cannonball Run.
She has appeared in over 450 screen performances, including her work on Maude and in the Academy Award winning ARGO. Off camera, Adrienne is the voice of Catwoman in Batman, The Animated Series, Ms. Simone in Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, and myriad video games including Redemption 76 and Halo Four. Adrienne is currently at work co-writing Grease Tell Me More, Tell Me More! for release in summer of 2022 to honor the 50th anniversary of the Broadway musical. Joanna Carpenter (She/Her) is a New York City-based actor, voiceover artist, and EDI consultant. Recent favorites include the upcoming fantasy pilot "King's Blade", Clicquot: A Revolutionary Musical, and of course The World to Come. Joanna recently debuted her one-woman show "Keeping It Together in Public" to a sold-out crowd at New York's Green Room 42, and is still emotionally recovering.

Tsebiyah Mishael Derry is an AEA actor/singer/poet native to New York. Favorite roles include Avery in Jillian Walker’s “SKiNFoLK: An American Show” at The Bushwick Starr, which received a NY Times’ Critics Pick in March 2020; Sweet Thing in Christina Ham’s “Nina Simone: Four Women” at People’s Light. Tsebiyah has also appeared in Netflix’s Hit and Run, starring Sanaa Lathan. In autumn 2021, as a part of NYC Artist Corps, Tsebiyah performed original poetry and music at The TankNYC, including singles like “Coastline,” “Bad On My Own,” and “Refugee Girl.” Those songs and more are now available on all music platforms. Chris Harder is a playwright, burlesque performer, and producer originally from North Dakota. His plays have been supported by the Provincetown Theater and Dixon Place, and his glittery, gritty burlesque performances have been produced across the US, Europe, and New Zealand where he was a 2017 featured artist at the World Buskers Festival. He holds an MFA in playwriting from Hunter College and was a 2020 recipient of the Bushwick Starr Pet Project Grant.

Jonathan Hoover is very excited to be taking part in this groundbreaking show. Kate Hoover is an NYC based actress who is thrilled to be a part of The World To Come. Previously she performed for over 3 years as a singer aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. She was last seen performing in The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking off-broadway at New World Stages. She also acts with The Murder Mystery Company and is a resident host for The Cosplay Cabaret specializing in all things nerdy.
